The thing that ruins every other one
It cannot roll down and sit under your stomach
Every band you have owned ended up rolled underneath by 10am, holding nothing, which is worse than wearing nothing at all. There is no band here. It is one piece, held up at the shoulders, so it stays exactly where you put it on.
Firm, not punishing
Held in. Not squeezed into a rectangle
The ones that make you feel physically ill are pressing in the wrong places. This gathers the loose skin and holds it flat instead of shoving everything up into a second roll at your bra line. The hook-and-eye front has three widths, so you decide how firm it feels, and reset it as your body keeps changing.
The question nobody answers
The bathroom takes thirty seconds
A zip-open panel at the crotch, hidden under a covered strip. You go, you zip, you are done. No unhooking the whole thing in a stall, no holding it up with your chin, no planning your whole day around one trip.
Why the others end up in a drawer
You will not be peeling it off by 2pm
Heat is the reason most of these get worn twice. A mesh panel through the middle and a light nylon knit keep air moving, so it is still on and still comfortable at dinner.
No red grooves at the end of the day
Nothing digging into your sides
The closure runs down the front, hook-and-eye, like a bra. No side zipper against your ribs, no boning, no wires. Nothing you will end up cutting out with a pair of scissors at 9pm.
Because you are not done changing
Sized for a body that is still shrinking
You are not going to spend real money on something that fits for six weeks. Measure with a tape, pick from the chart, and when you shrink out of it, we swap the size for free. The three rows of hooks buy you room in between.
Buy 2, get 1 free
You hand wash these, so one is always drying. Two means one is always ready to put on in the morning.
Straight answer
What it does, and what it does not
It holds. It contains. It lets you put on the clothes already hanging in your closet and stop planning around your stomach. It does not tighten loose skin, and we are not going to pretend it can. Nothing you pull on does.
You already did the hard part. This holds the part your skin has not caught up on yet.
Sizing
How to pick your size
Measure under your bust at the band line, your waist at its narrowest, and your hip at its fullest.
Find the row that fits your largest measurement. That is your size, not the letter on your jeans.
Between two rows? Take the larger. This suit runs small and a size too tight is the number one regret.
| Size | Under bust | Waist | Hip | Length |
|---|---|---|---|---|

| S | 34 to 36 (86-92) | 27 to 29 (68-74) | 36 to 38 (90-96) | 28 (71) |

Fuller cup sizes: the built-in shelf is soft and unwired, so most women wear their own bra over it.
The length barely changes across sizes, so above 5 ft 8 expect a slightly shorter torso.
Your size will change again in a few weeks. That is what the free exchange is for.
You have tried the others
Why none of it worked before
| Everyday shapewear | Squeezes from the belly button up and leaves the apron hanging free underneath. Or the band rolls down and parks under it, which looks worse than nothing. |
|---|---|
| Waist trainers | Grip the middle and push everything up and down instead. Muffin top at the ribs, rolls at the back, and you still cannot take a full breath. |
| The firm ones from the surgical shops | The right idea, wrapped in zippers that dig, heat you cannot stand past noon, and sizing that assumes you just had an operation. |
| Heldwell | Starts below the apron and holds it flat, hangs from the shoulders so there is no band to roll, hook-and-eye front you set yourself, mesh so you can breathe, and a zip-open bottom so the bathroom is thirty seconds. |
